In an important recent development, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri denied OOIDA’s motion for Class Certification in the pending action against Prime. OOIDA, a non-profit trade organization, had originally filed the complaint against the company in 1997 alleging federal leasing violations. Prime signed an agreement with Carrier Transicold to purchase 50 Carrier Ultima 53 refrigeration systems, with the option to purchase an additional 30 systems.
