Prime Inc. recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Millennium Building, an amenities center unlike anything in North America. In honor of the occasion, Prime hosted an invitation-only reception and ribbon cutting on Friday, June 9, from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Prime Inc. recently won the Harvey Communication Measurement Award for advertising. Harvey Research, Inc., consultants in communications research since 1953, presented the award to Prime in recognition of advertising that achieved outstanding readership response.

Prime, Inc., a leading international refrigerated, flatbed and liquid bulk truckload carrier headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, recently teamed with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to stop the transport of illegal narcotics into the United States. Following the discovery that eighteen-wheelers were being used to transport illegal narcotics out of Mexico and into the U.S. through Texas and Mexico, a case developed out of the DEA’s Springfield office in June.

However, according to Randy Price, Prime’s Manager of Corporate Security, the company has gone “back to the basics” in its most recent security efforts. Prime is taking a proactive approach in combating theft and other crimes by numbering the tops of its trailers.

August, 2000 – Prime Inc.
